Kanyoni publishes histories, folktales, and essays that readers can pass on. You write the draft. An editor reviews it before it appears on the site.
What to write
Oral folklore, family history, names and naming, regional history, language, and the culture you have lived or studied. Name people, places, and sources carefully, and write only what you can stand behind.
How a story is published
- Sign in and start a draft from your dashboard.
- Save as you write. A draft can be deleted until you submit it.
- Submit when you want an editor to review. If changes are needed, you can revise and send it again.
- After review, the story is published for readers on Kanyoni.
